The job:


  • Assist the Procurement Manager in sourcing Fit-out elements, FF&E and OS&E items within target budgets, timelines, and design intent/briefs.
  • Manage budgets and prepare tender packages for suppliers and specialist subcontractors.
  • Negotiate prices with various suppliers and subcontractors and prepare contracts/purchase orders.
  • Support in procurement and value engineering of FF&E/Fit-out elements, FF&E and OS&E.
  • Coordinate reviews of samples, prototypes, manufacturers, and suppliers' workshop drawings and work with contractors & suppliers to ensure the design and quality are executed as per specifications and of the highest standard.
  • Handle administrative duties related to processing and payment of invoices to suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Handle administrative duties related to logistics, customs & duties for delivery of supplier products.
  • Coordinate materials, fabrics, and components to ensure items are produced as per design brief and within budgets.
  • Assist in coordinating the delivery and installation of all FF&E, Fit-out and OS&E items to the site.
  • Build and maintain a Fit-out, FF&E and OS&E material and sample library.
  • Gain market, supplier, and material knowledge, identify industry trends, and contribute to optimizing the hotel product and procurement process.
  • Support efforts in maintaining The July Stylistic & Brand Design Standards in coordination with the design team.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the Asset Manager, GMs, and Technical departments during the capex project process on internal refurbishment projects.


Job requirements

Do you recognize yourself in the following?

  • 1-3 years of experience in procurement within commercial real estate development (hotel/mixed-use).
  • Degree in procurement & supply chain management and/or project management, design, or construction (with experience in cost estimation/procurement).
  • Passionate about procurement, design, and product
  • Good instincts, proactive nature & eagerness to learn.
  • Good team player with ability to work collaboratively with internal & external parties on multiple projects
  • Full proficiency using Google Sheets/Excel, other office applications (Pages/Word, Sheets/Powerpoint), Smartsheets (or Microsoft project).
  • Basic use of drawing programmes used for budget calculations
  • Ability to use Revit, AutoCad, SketchUp is seen as a bonus
  • Full proficiency in understanding & interpreting drawings and using drawing management library tools (with introduction training)
  • Financial understanding of project costs, budget awareness, programs and deadlines.
  • Good supplier and product knowledge including FF&E and finishes.
  • Extremely organized and efficient with high attention to detail.
  • Good relationship-building skills & concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
