Financial Accountant

The Job:

• Accounts Payable and Travel Expense Management: You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable. You are responsible for reviewing the travel & expenses against the company policies as well as the accurate and timely processing.

• Periodic Closings: You will ensure accurate and proper periodic closures for the accounts payable and support with other periodic close activities, such as reconciliations.

• Reporting: You will prepare various periodic financial reports and support with analysis following the month-end closing.

• Audit Support: You will assist with the annual external audit for the group and local entities by providing the necessary documentation.

• Projects: As we grow as a company and streamline our finance operations, you will participate in various continuous improvements projects, utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Do you recognize yourself in the following?

• Preferably a completed HBO degree in the field of Hospitality / Hotelmanagement, or an Accounting degree

• 1 to 3 years of work experience. Experience or knowledge within accounting and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is a pre.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently.

• Flexibility in dealing with various tasks at the same time.

• Preferably experience with bookkeeping software (e.g. Visma) and proficient with Excel and Google slides / sheets.

• Good command of Dutch and English both orally and in writing.
