The Job

As a Junior Development Manager, you will collaborate with our Senior Development Managers to oversee hotel development projects across Europe. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing development projects, ensuring successful outcomes in terms of budget, risk management, organization, time, information, quality, and sustainability.
• Coordinating internal project teams and external consultancy teams throughout the development process.
• Assisting in contract negotiations and closures with legal support.
• Collaborating with the design team for the execution of interior concepts.
• Coordinating project teams and internal stakeholders.
• Preparing and presenting periodic reports and targets.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including municipalities, developers, contractors, and consultants.
• Supporting the delivery of tender packages for contractors and suppliers.
• Monitoring and reporting on contractor and developer progress.
• Coordinating external stakeholders and obtaining third-party approvals.
• Maintaining project documentation, budgets, and risk registers.
• Assisting in achieving sustainability targets within development projects.
• Staying updated on industry trends and contributing to the optimization of hotel product and development processes. 
• Assisting with managing CAPEX projects of the standing assets.

Do you recognize yourself in the following?

• Passion for construction, hospitality, and real estate.
• Degree in real estate, project management, and/or construction.
• 1-3 years of experience in commercial real estate development, preferably in the hotel/mixed-use sector.
• Effective communication skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
• Team player mentality.
• Openness to travel throughout Europe.
