As a Demi Chef de Partie at restaurant Vessel, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations. You will work closely with our chefs, learning and contributing to the implementation of delectable dishes that reflect our commitment to culinary excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to grow and develop their culinary skills in a fast-paced environment.


The job:

  • Assist in the preparation of high-quality, delicious dishes in accordance with the menu and recipes provided.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Learn and execute cooking techniques under the guidance of our chef.
  • Participate in the development and testing of new recipes.

Job requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Culinary school diploma or relevant experience in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes accurately.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Adaptability and the willingness to take on various tasks as needed.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Someone who doesn't mind working morning and evening shifts.
